Members of the Connecticut Prevention Network (CPN) and local police departments from across the state gathered at CMHA headquarters in New Britain on January 11 for an information session regarding the new Prescription Drug Drop Box Initiative. The initiative aims to offer residents a convenient way to dispose of prescription drugs safely, thus keeping children and the community safe by removing drugs that could end up diverted for illegal use. The event was sponsored by SAAC and CPN.
