Community Mental Health Affiliates’ (CMHA) Substance Abuse Action Council (SAAC) sponsored “Celebrating Recovery,” a free public forum at the Connecticut Clearinghouse in Plainville on September 15. Attendees celebrated September as National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month and heard stories of hope from those in various stages of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and from gambling addiction.
